A shelter for the children living in the bush
Sr. Wilhelmine Mukosho, a Benedctine nun, from the catholic mission of Rundu, was helping the orphans who were living in the bush by gathering them in a place for recreation, teaching and holiday activities and training. She has tried to address the need of the orphans (aids orphans in particular) in many ways, since they represent a major problem in those poor communities which are already affected by the AIDS epidemic. The orphans
are often left alone since even the extended family, typical of the African culture, cannot cope with this additional burden. In this particular case they did not have a place to stay and slept under the trees. The outreach programme lead by Rolando has come to the help of Sr. Wilhlmina with a donation which has allowed the building of a shelter.
