Mururani project - Tommaso

This project has been identified by the ERTS outreach initiative and supported by Tommaso Balestrini and Morra Associated, a group of Lawyer from Milano, Italy. The project aims to pay school fees to orphans in the Kavango region attending the Mururani Combined School situated 150 Km from Rundu in the Mururani area in the Kavango Region. The school currently provides education from grade 1 up to grade 10 with a school population of about 500 learners and 16 teachers. Most of the students come from the surrounding villages and commercial farms since this is the only school in the area. The school also accepts orphans, students with lower grades and drops out which are not accepted by other schools. For the year 2008 funds have been raised to pay school fees for 1 year for 15 students while providing them school uniforms s well basic toiletry and food supplements. Morra Associated has committed to continue their support for the coming years.
